Happy Friday! Can’t believe September is already on its way out. We plan to spend a lot of time outside, enjoying the fresh air before it turns cold.
Hopefully it will rain soon, as the drought in New Hampshire continues. Yet there are many ways you can save water while we wait. In the meantime, climate scientists ironically predict extreme rainfall for NH’s future.
I luckily happened upon Laura Knoy talking about zero-waste with a few guests this week. They discussed the tips we list here on GreenLifeNH and why it’s important to make some changes. One guest was from the Conservation Law Foundation, which offers some advice: 10 Tips for Going Zero Waste and Slash Your Trash and Advocate for Zero Waste
Lastly, I couldn’t believe my eyes but Governor Newsom on California made a big promise this week. Of course a new government can change this rule, but it feels huge to even begin this type of goal.
