How was your week? Food seems to be on our minds right now at GreenLifeNH, and in the news as well! What will you be cooking this weekend? I’ll be working on some soups and decorating pumpkins with my girls. Might also find time to make some apple butter. In the meantime, a few food-related eco-links from around the web….
Whole Foods is now offering curbside shopping at all of its locations. I have many mixed feelings about Whole Foods. On one hand, I love going inside, perusing the selections, getting some awesome produce and having lunch at the cafe. My girls especially love the kids area. On the other, the prices are expensive (though they have come down over the past few years) and it’s ultimately just another Amazon entity. However, to be honest, I will likely use this service because I’m currently doing 99% of my shopping via curbside pick-up and it’s nice to have another option in my arsenal. If only Trader Joe’s would start doing the same! (Although I have some thoughts on them too….)
I love to cook and usually prefer a gas stove (except for cleaning!), but maybe that’s not best for the Earth .
How do you define a burger? Apparently this question is the source of a hot debate in the European Union
