Happy December!

How has your week been? Ours was a little hectic, as our kids were home from school and we juggled work, education and mental health all together. (See our fort?) But that’s just a normal day in 2020, correct? In the meantime, climate change continues to happen (this week was eerily warm but snow is on the way!) and we need to do our part.

Interested in trying Thinx but concerned about the price? An alternative is here. “It’s the perfect product category for Gen Z and young millennials who absolutely, more than any other age cohort, feel a desire — and to some degree an obligation — to go greener,” said Suzanne Shelton, the chief executive of the firm.” Good for newly minted 40 year olds as well!

Meet the clean supermajors. They have the clout and financial might of the energy behemoths that plumbed the world over for oil and gas before them. But instead of digging mines and drilling wells, they’re leading the race to electrify the global economy.”

Lastly, the zero-waste movement is about cutting down on packaging, but is it creating more pressure on women? “For Kellogg, her original impetus was actually pretty self-centered: She had a breast cancer scare and wanted to get plastic out of her life. “You cannot approach it from a ‘do it for the planet!’ point of view,” she says. “Most people don’t care about the planet. You know what they do care about? Hmm, themselves. This improved my health, my creativity; it has saved me a bunch of money.” Because of her personal zero-waste challenge, she finally weaned herself off of her habit of housing a dozen Pop-Tarts a week. Can’t argue with that.” Thoughts?
